Founded in Berlin in 2011, Delivery Hero has grown rapidly and now employs over 6,000 people, providing a digital platform to order meals from more than 150,000 restaurants in 40 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. Reuters BERLIN/FRANKFURT: Online food takeaway firm Delivery Hero is preparing a flotation that could value one of Europe’s largest Internet startups at up to 4bil (RM19.26bil), raising funds to help it fend off new competitors such as Uber and Amazon.
Devops platform provider Puppet has introduced its Puppet Cloud Discovery service for learning what, exactly, users have running in the cloud and their impact. As Puppet’s first foray into SaaS, the service offers visibility into cloud workloads, providing the same type of introspection as the on-premise Puppet Enterprise platform.
Blue Ocean, a reimagined user interface for the Jenkins continuous delivery platform, makes its official debut Wednesday as a free, open source plugin. The interface helps make software development more accessible, said Tyler Croy, director of evangelism at Jenkins solutions provider CloudBees and a board member and contributor on the Jenkins project.

AccelFoods, an accelerator and fund that backs innovative food and beverage companies, has added $15 million to its second fund, according to founding partners Jordan Gaspar and Lauren Jupiter. AccelFoods has backed brandsmakingproducts that range from edgy to adorable.
Kidizen, a marketplace for secondhand childrens apparel, has raised $3.2 million in Series A funding, the company announced today. The funding was led by Chicago-basedOrigin Ventures, which backed the startup following its more than 100 percent year-over-year growth in 2016 which has allowedthe business to reach more than a quarter million registered users across the U.S. Also participating in the round were Royal Street Ventures, Corigin Ventures and MergeLane.
Goldbely, the specialty food delivery service, has closed $10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Global Founders Capital and Intel Capital (which also led the companys seed round).
