But the real story is thatthe startup, backed with a new $8 million Series A led by Redpoint, is gearing up to pitchenterprises on itscollaboration platformthat combines AI, social graphs and integrations withcommon CRM, ticketing and group messaging tools.

A Swiss startup, Terpon SA, is making virtual reality webcams specifically for the adult entertainment industry. The cameras arent available for purchase, but customers can rent them for about $30 a month, a price that includes around the clock technical support.
Desktop Metal has raised $45 million in a Series C round of venture funding to develop desktop 3D printers that make metal objects. The company aims to bring metal-making capabilitiestosmaller businesses and designers who couldnt afford, or find the space, for previously available technologies.
